Jordan here. We've wanted a nice camera for a long time, so I bought Emily a camera as an early (and probably only) birthday present. We bought it from Costco so we could give it a test run. Here are a few photos. Although we have so much to learn, we can already tell the difference between this camera (a dslr) and the point-and-shoot ones we've always used.
Photograph flowers? I wonder if anyone else has ever thought of that?
So one thing led to another, and before I knew it, I was grilling squash, zucchini and a whole chicken.

We live by a freeway - sometimes we hear it at night. But, oh my - we've got some great views.
On a final note - it took every ounce of willpower not to put up pictures of our kids. I better sign off now.
